Privacy is under Attack!
¯ “Oh, the times they really are a changing…” ¯
In keeping with the events of September 11th, 2001 and the Homeland Security and P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Acts that followed, just before the 2004 Elections, both the Corp. U.S. Senate and House of Representatives passed bills to create a national database and identification system designed to set a manditory national identification system in place. To get an idea of how this system will effect you, check out this link: Ordering Pizza (Flash movie version). Though the story through the link is future shock light comedy, its potential may be closer than you think. We are reminded of the bio-chip implant threat as it related to the national health plans Clinton was unable to get passed by Congress. Had that plan passed, the national ID number system referenced in the story would be in place today.
Since the September 11th, 2001 attack on our nation, privacy and our Constitution have been under constant attack from agencies of “government” in the name of security from terrorism. The question is, “Who are the terrorists that attacked us?”
By now, most people are aware of the lies and deceptions presented to Congress to get it to declare War on Afghanistan and Iraq. As current broadcasts on CSPAN show, the United States Government is still looking for a link between Saddam , Iraq and Al Qaeda but the 911 Commission announced they found no such link. Still, when we look to the events of that infamous day and ask, “What really happened?” The 911 Commission did not seem to look into that at all—as it turns out the commission’s sole purpose was to analyze more ways of restricting the American people’s rights in the future.
The existing photographic and video taped evidence alone shows: the object that hit the Pentagon was a long white tube that looked much like a cruise missile; there is no evidence of an airliner hitting the Pentagon; and, the aircraft that hit the trade center were not the colors of either American Airlines or United Airlines rather they were military gray and their fuselage was not consistent with the Boeing commercial airliners.
This leaves us with two more questions: “What happened to the missing airliners?”, and, “What hit the buildings?”
Considering the massive cover-up related to these matters, one must ask, “Is anyone other than the United States Government capable of pulling off such an event and cover-up?” The answer seems to be, “No!”
Thus the answer to the question, “Who are the terrorists that attacked us?”, seems sadly to be, the United States Government itself; which brings light to the current attack against the private constitutionally secured rights and sovereign nature of the People of the United States of America.
Since Clinton’s attempts at securing a national identification system failed, the feds have ordered the states to use the Social Security number to track licensing, which thing Congress has always maintained was an unlawful use of the number and violation of privacy. Further, companies like Wal-Mart, have purchased billions of microscopic radio transmitter chips (RFID) for placement in their products to automate inventory tracking and customer purchase tracking; and though such systems have so far proven themselves not to be cost effective the technology has moved. Today, the technology is being adopted big time in the automobile tracking industry. Trucking companies use it to track their trucks. States and private organizations are useing it to track tollroad access. And, the latest move is to “tag” credit cards with RFID chips.
States also tag “tag” automobiles in concert with automobile registrations. Sure that level of tracking will make vehicle registration more cost effective for states that follow suit; but, what will become of Liberty in the process? You might want to check out the July 2004, Reader’s Digest articles, New Threats to Your Privacy pg. 79 and Spy Games pg. 80; after which you may note that all over the country, cities are putting up surveillance cameras at least on all of their street intersections. Schools are using bio-chip implants to track student attendance. You cannot purchase a new car that is not equipped with satellite tracking, which tracking information is being used today at least as follows: rental car companies are use the information to charge their clients contractually agreed speeding fines, which are automatically debited to the credit card used to rent the car each time the car exceeds the speed limit of the road; the courts are using such information as evidence in criminal trials; and the Fed’s new “MATRIX” (Multistate Anti-TeRrorism Information eXchange) is the latest data mining program to emerge from the government. This surveillance system combines information about individuals from government databases and private-sector data. It then makes those dossiers available for search by government officials and combs through the millions of files in a search for “anomalies”.
Welcome to George Orwell’s “Brave New World”, on techno-steroids!
It is also important to watch out for other threats against your privacy and other God given natural inherent rights; for example, it is important to guard against things like: the UN’s Agenda 21, tag terms to watch out for: “Sustainable Development” and “Social Justice”.
